Young Mr. C is learning to find his car legs and when on a curvy road that lying down is the better part of valor. He is a very young pup, but oh so handsome in the sunset's glow. Vignettes from the day including: gifts from a friend's garden (see 4th of July gardening post), visiting with old friends (including of the 4 legged variety), beholding Zinnias (which I am going to call Ezekiel flowers from now on-flowers within flowers), and seeing a World Cup omen in the backyard may be (come on, it does not take a sign to see that Francis is going win, no?). We had some lovely plums in the house this weekend and I was reminded of this great poem. At the fireworks show. The breeze, the sunset… A sort of perfect night… well that was the score 😔 even so, even so. It was not the shot I wanted, which is when the three fellows with their beers were perpendicular to me and the setting sun was shining through each glass.
