back from holiday

It has been quite some time since I have posted on ye olde blog, but that is because I was afforded the wonderful opportunity to travel to ye merrie olde England from December 9th-17th.

Do I have some pictures for you? Well, yes I do; eighteen hundred and eight to be precise. Have no worries, I will certainly not bother you with all of them, but I may be sharing from that horde predominantly for a little while. Below is a menu of sorts.

Oh, and there may be some haiku and miniessays to spring from my time there as well, like a pheasant from cover. For starters, the haiku above is about the always somewhat melancholy feeling one has upon descending from a mountain top experience.
