Texas is certainly nowhere near as green as Missouri, but the wildflowers go a long way in making up for that. Every highway is lined with bright yellows and oranges and blues and whites, which show up vividly against the drab, brown earth. I hope to take my camera when I am out riding some time, but when I am on my bike I am loathe to stop. These flowers where just beside my brother’s house. And, yes, even there scaredy old me was on the lookout for rattlesnakes.
