On the way up to Wilton, Maine, we stopped in the small coastal village of Camden, Maine on the recommendation of a friend. In short, this town provides the sort of picture postcard shots for which tourism departments drool. I would love to come back for a longer visit. I had a lobster roll at Fresh restaurant, which had butter on the roll. It was superb. My friend had fried clams which were so tender and juicy. I never did manage a mayonnaise based lobster roll from a road side shack or truck while I was in Maine, though, which I am told are even better. I guess I will have to save that till next time!
