In truth, this abandoned bar and grill is just outside of the city limits of Three Rivers, which is just as well, because I do not know if the town would really want to claim it. I could not resist stopping to capture such an interesting piece of roadside Americana. I even was able to to talk to a local who rolled up in his wheelchair and told me a little about the family who had owned it and about the wild times there, and how the city told the owner to tear it down, but neither of them wants to pay for it. It would be a shame to see it go, though it really needs to come down. I would totally take that graphic of the Bears logo!
