It has been a while since I posted a haiku writing prompt. How about this one? Use the phrase “winter into spring” in a haiku as either the first line or the last line or part of the middle and post it as a comment (additional “comment”ary is welcome too). I would prefer 5-7-5 syllable haiku, but will try not to be fastidious 🙂 Punctuate as you wish.

Here goes:

grey skies the perfect
backdrop to such pageantry
winter into spring
