I have just finished reading the entire new issue of Catapult titled “Going to the Chapel,” and there are some very fine articles in this issue, including a very funny and insightful one on “How NOT to Propose.”

Having noted that most of the authors actually are married, though, and being a single man myself, I am feeling a little sheepish about having written an article about the process of wedding planning. Nevertheless, that is what I have done for this issue, and I hope you may find that it has some good things to say. And, I must add, that it feels good just to have written some prose again for Catapult after a longish break.

Still, I also submitted a photo for this issue about a moment that is often almost forgotten in weddings, but is really rather important!
