…in truth, sometimes they make them (buildings, gadgets, cars, etc.) better, either in materials, capabilities, or coolness factor. Much, however, in our day seems far more “throw away” than in the past. And many buildings in St. Louis make the case that when it comes to aesthetics and beauty, the past seems to have a leg up.
Here are some images of Union Station in St. Louis (which is now the lobby of the Marriott) which was constructed by architect Theodore Link. I will have to go back and get a decent photo of the Tiffany window there. Until then, enjoy.








Jake and I stayed there for my birthday last year! Once in the hotel, you can see the ballrooms and snazzy pool! I loved it!
Wow, that would be cool. I think I saw a look of their ballroom from their website and it looks quite impressive.
