Anathallo and The Pragmatic @ The Luminary Center for the Arts, St. Louis

Well, I have finally gotten around to editing my pictures from a concert at The Luminary Center for the Arts several weeks back featuring Anathallo and a local St. Louis band called The Pragmatic. I deleted many, but am afraid that I was not as ruthless as I should have been. So, I fear that you might have to sift through some dross, to see some select decent shots. Here are the links (Luminary, The Pragmatic, Anathallo).

Oh, by the way, both shows were excellent and energetic, but in different ways. Anathallo’s horns and drums (and other varied percussion instruments) and background vocals were lovely and enjoyable as always. And I also really liked The Pragmatic, which kind of has Death Cab for Cutie or Ben Gibbard vocals over retro 80’s-style synth pop with real, driving drums, a very energizing and pleasant combination. And, I highly recommend the venue. Affordable tickets and really rather cheap drinks, amidst a top of the line facility which nonetheless has character.
