OK, so I will admit that Americans set the gold standard for creating cheesy theme parks, but at least we generally do it well, unlike the folks at Lapland Forest, who seem to have the best of intentions, but not necessarily the best execution. Make sure to check out the pictures, both sad and humorous. The pictures of the huskies looks like a photo smuggled out of some illegal kennel in southern Missouri. And the elves, well, their outfits are a good enough symbol themselves for why the park failed. And, oh, the poor silicone encrusted trees!

I am afraid this post has bordered on being uncharitable, but then again crass commericalism of Christmas, even when I find it in myself, can always do with a little critiquing.

Oh, wait…this just in! I just checked out their website, and they deserve all the criticism they get.
