In the grand scheme things, it is a very small thing to follow through on such a simple plan, but I am very pleased to have 1) cycled down to Soulard market last Saturday and bought some vegetables and 2) actually cooked the said vegetables into some tasty curries last night. One was a potato, carrot, and squash curry and the other a green bean and potato curry which we only really used to eat in Pakistan in the summer in the mountains where green beans were to be had.

That sounds great… now where are the leftovers?
I hope to go to the farmer’s market more when I move south of 44, rather than picking my own at the Schnuck’s Garden.
Uh hun, good question Heidi H.! Tantalizing!
Jake and I made a potato, carrot, squash curry We made a curry last night with eggplant, carrots, red peppers which was pretty good. I must admit I was inspired after I saw your post last night. š
P.S. I like the “Ripening” shots. Excuse me while I eat my computer monitor.
Ah, ladies, the first batch got consumed or left-overed at house church. The second batch, of potatoes and green beans, oh my goodness it is good, if a little hot. Some of that may go to pops if I can manage.
Ah, but you know, Henapalooza 2008 is just around the corner and perhaps one of the above will make an appearance!
Ha, ha, Heidi H, “picking your own at Schnucks.” Yeah, you should be quite a bit closer down at you new place. Perhaps you could get a bicycle with a basket.
