I should have left the little football men out (though I like that shot) then, aside from my photo, it would have been an all glass photo set.

Hey Neil,
Ok, now that you have the camera, might I suggest a … Name : )
It’s a tradition now with the Crim’s & I to name our favored possessions. AND it’s HANDY! For instance, when we’re on a shoot, Ed says get Bob, & I know which camera to get. Or I say, Im using Iris Lensey, & ta daaaaaaa my lovely camera appears.
So, a name I challenge you.
I do love my Iris! http://edwardcrim.com/blog/Edward%20Crim/Jenny.html
PS: My car is broken, I cannot meet thurs night… Sorry : ( Can we re-schedule for next week, whenever’s good for you? I’ll call u tomorrow just to make sure u get this!

Welcom new nameless camera! wow the second stained glass photo is quite powerful-very aquatic. Maybe it’s the combination of rippling blues and kelp greens?
The third shot is my favorite because the glass makes the trees look like a portal to another land or something–REALLY interesting. Reminds me of something Madeleine L’Engle would write about. http://www.awrinkleintime.net/
Where did you take that one?

Neil: What am I looking at in the 3rd pic, a spider, a spider web, a spidery-webby-looking tree branch, a combination of all three? At any rate, it’s a cool photo.
Jenny: Speaking of cool photos, I followed your link and checked out your wedding photos. They’re beautiful! Do you have a favorite one of you and Dave?

Check that, *4th* photo, although I’m sure you figured that out.

Jenny,
I am a fan of naming camera. My last one was named “Lucy,” and I am happy to say its new owner consented to keep the name. I was thinking of not naming this one. I don’t know why, but perhaps to be more serious about the business of photography. But, hey, if professional photographers can indulge in the whimsey, hey, I will work on it. I like “Iris Lensey” very much, by the way.
Heidi,
all of these are from one long building at my campus. It is a very old building and has some castle-ish features and even a ghost. Yes, that picutre does look portalish. I need to read a Wrinkle in Time again. I like Madeleine L’Engle, though I don’t always get her.
Renae,
that is a picture of a crack in the window with some trees in the backgound.

Neil: (A) I was wrong on all three guesses! Now as I look at it it seems obvious that it’s a photo of cracked glass. (B) Sorry to use your blog to talk to Jenny. She needs to get her own blog, maybe? But anyway,
Jenny: You know me from U.City because you worked with my oldest, Madeleine, in Worship Warriors. I try to maintain at least a bit of anonymity on my blog to fend off kid-stalking creeps–which I’m sure none of Neil’s readers are, right?–by avoiding posting our kids’ photos and names. You can, however, find a photo of Clay and me by going to the 1.4.07 entry, which should confirm that we, indeed, do know each other (even if not as well as we should!).
Cheers!
