Yes, I too, lament the poor awards choices of 1998… it being the first year of parenthood for us, Elizabeth was one of the few movies that we saw in the theatre. I couldn’t believe it lost out to that goofy other movie.
That looks like Christopher Guest over there on the right, but he looks much older than that these days, doesn’t he… I still think of him as his character in Princess Bride.

Renae, yes, that year, as are many, was an Oscar travesty. I do not think that is Christopher Guest as his name does not appear on the IMDB page for the movie.
whoa… the trailer gave me chills. i really enjoyed the first film and its relative accuracy as far as history is concerned. i guess we’ll see how this one does.
