  1. 4,5, and 7 are my favorites. That sky’s georgeous and the moss is really nice. Ahoy Laura! 😉

  2. Hum? Perhaps I would call them “The Thickets”. If no men were in the band I may go with the “Thickettes”…wait, maybe not. In any case, the album covers would be very organic: mossy knolls, fallen trees, brambly paths…paying homage to the organicness of their lyrical content. How’s that? Doesn’t make much sense, but I DO think the name “The Thickets” could work.

  3. Nice. I like. Very woodsy and organic and folksy. Though some folk may wonder about whether or not the title had to do with head thickness or not, which would be distracting 🙂
I was, of course, specifically refering to picture 6.

  4. That did cross my mind. Hum? I’ll have to give it more thought.

  5. The Thickets sounds more and more cool to me. Have you ever thought of making an album without actually making an album i.e. coming up with a name, organizing concept, doing all the album art/photography, and writing the lyrics for the album, and yes, I suppose even the liner notes.
I wanted to do all of that (though I hadn’t thought of the liner notes) with a band I like to call “the dead cicadas.” It was meant to be an exercise in mocking such “dead” bands, but now I think it would be a cool band. Then I was going to make a web site and see if I could fool someone.
Of course, it won’t work now. Though writing a concept albums worth of lyrics would be worthwhile.

  6. Can’t say that I have. If you end up pulling this together, I’ll visit the web site and comment on how much I appreciate the album. And nobody will know that I am simply referring to the concept, pictures, lyrics, and liner notes. He he.
